"As soon as I saw you I knew a grand adventure was about to happen." - Winnie the Pooh

The arrival of a child is a huge event and most certainly cause for celebration.  For many parents, a religious service is not desirable so using a celebrant to mark this right of passage is the prefect alternative.  I am also more than willing to incorporate religious elements for those who are looking for something different to a traditional religious naming ceremony.

I meet with parents to create a ceremony which can include other special people in the child's life, such as godparents.  They may wish to write their own promises or alternatively I can pose questions they can respond to. We can also include other family members and acknowledge their role in the child's life.  Music, poems, readings, symbolic rituals and prayers can be incorporated as desired.

I will send the order of ceremony to parents in advance so that any amendments can be made.  I will attend the venue early on the day itself and be on hand to go through the running order and answer any last minute queries.  Together, we will ensure your child's day is a special one for everyone to remember.
